Welcome to Year 6. Year 6 is a really important year for the children, as they begin to prepare for the transition to high school. We aim to give the children a wide range of experiences in terms of personal and social development, as well as having high expectations for their academic progress. Highlights usually include our outdoor activity residential in Scotland, Bikeability training, Enterprise Week, Carol singing, Peace Proms and Citizenship week to name just a few. You will discover more about these as the year goes on, but you could take a look at the "Previous Year 6" blog on the School Life section of the website to see some highlights from previous years.

Use the drop-down menu on the left-hand side to find our class blog. It contains lots of information about what has been going on in Year 6.

In each of the sections below, you will find information about what we are learning each term. Please note that updates will be added as each new term begins. We have left last year's information on at the moment to give you a flavour of what might be ahead!
