We have enjoyed tasting fruit from other countries and finding where it was on a globe. We discussed how the various fruits would have journeyed from country to country. 
 

We loved meeting Harold the giraffe today! He was telling us all about our wonderful bodies and how to keep healthy. 

Today a special visitor came to see us.  It was Harold, our favourite giraffe.  He helped us to learn all about making friends and keeping them.

Today in PSHE, Mrs Ventress set us a challenge!

The task- to build a free standing bridge which spanned 30cm and was raised from the ground.

We have enjoyed a fourth day of sunshine today, along with a visit from Mrs Walsh. All groups had a raft-building session on the lake, alongside zip wire, abseiling, climbing and survival skills, where we built shelters and fires. In the evening we all went for a walk up through the woods and up…

More fabulous team work - grouping objects to make counting quicker.

Here we are grouping objects into sets to make counting them easier.  We grouped them into 2’s, 5’s, 10’s and some of us even tried 3’s.

Today we learnt it’s much quicker to count larger sets of objects in groups rather than one at a time.
