After several weeks of work, Year 6 have finally finished their multi-layer printing project, just in time to turn them into their Christmas cards.

The Year 6 children joined Mr and Mrs Weatherill for a service in Churnside House this afternoon. They sang numerous carols beautifully. At the end of the service the children spent some time talking to the residents.

Year 6 have been working hard all week, to produce items to sell at the Christmas Fair today. This week, Year 6 have been learning how to make short- crust pastry, with the help of Mrs Anderson - one of our school governors. They used their new baking skill to make mince pies to sell at the Christmas Fair.

Today we have combined history with our computing skills to work on creating slideshows on the topic of evacuation in WW2. We used Google Classroom to work in pairs on the same slideshow, but on different Chromebooks.
