PCSO Atkinson came into school this afternoon to announce the winners of the cycle safety poster competition which the KS2 children had the opportunity to enter following his visit before half term. The children used what they had learnt about keeping safe when cycling on the roads, to create their own eye-catching and informative posters. PCSO Atkinson presented cycle helmets as first prizes for the best poster in each class and goody bags for the runners up. All children who entered the competition were given reflective wrist bands.
We were very excited to learn that one entry had been chosen (by a panel of senior police officers) to be made into a permanent road sign which will be put up outside school.
Thank you and well done to all the children who took part in the competition.
