We have had fun with Number dominos in the Maths area this week. 

We used the greater than and less than number frames to explore numbers using autumn objects and magnetic numbers. We made sure we “chomped” the greater numbers!

We used the greater than and less than frames to explore the value of the number. We used the vocab greater than and less than and had fun “chomping” the biggest number.

We had great fun with a new continuous provision activity- Number value and match teddies.

We made the most of the sunshine and played our ‘Number Name Bingo’ outside.

We chose a number card and explored using different resources how to make it. We used a ten frame, multi-link and drew our objects.

Today, we found a trail of footprints all round school. We asked lots of questions and even asked Mrs Aylott if she had seen anything that could have made the footprints! We came up with lots of ideas and followed the trail. When we got back into the classroom, look at what we found!!!!!

As part of our topic, we had another parent coming to tell us about how she helps people in the St John’s Ambulance. We enjoyed hearing about what she does and loved looking at the medals she had been awarded, especially from the Queen!
