Making our delicious fruit salad!

We followed a recipe to make a fruit smoothie. We looked at the bossy verbs at the start of the sentences.

We carefully followed the instructions and placed the ingredients in.

Mrs McKenna brought in a microscope so we can look closely at some blood.

Mrs McKenna came in and told us all about blood and how it goes around our body. 

Year 1 made their own Non-fiction books about plants. We researched and found some interesting facts looking at the features of plants and what they need to grow. We even made our own glossaries!!!
