We had a fantastic time at our Christmas party! Lots of singing, dancing and playing lots of games.

We continued to experiment with different materials to look at their properties. We predicted if they were transparent or not. Then we tested to see if they were correct or not.

We enjoyed making our Christmas decorations with Scot4All.

We were looking at which material is the best for Traction Man to wear in an underwater adventure. We predicted which ones we thought would be the best and used a pipette to test which ones resisted water.

We have loved reenacting the Traction Man book this week. We have escaped the ‘evil cushions’ and delved into the ‘soapy waters’ to escape the ‘poisonous dishcloth!’ We have enjoyed making up our own adventures too.

Well done to all the girls who braved the cold on Thursday and represented the school in the tournament. All of the girls did amazingly well by supporting each other and showing fantastic sportsmanship. 
We are very proud of you of you all. 

We have continued being scientists by exploring ‘Materials’ and testing the properties of them. 

We have explored sliders and levers and now we have begun to make our own. We have used our cutting, glueing and hole punching skills to make this. We will be exploring these in preparation for our end product.

We had the electrical buzzers in fencing this week.

We followed instructions to make a raspberry and banana smoothie for Mrs Walsh! She thought it was delicious!
