Today it was World Cup day. In reception we had lots of fun designing football shirts with our buddies. We also played some tennis, football, hockey and did some dancing. 

Year 4 had a fun-filled afternoon with Coach Dan practicing gymnastics skills! Everybody did a fantastic job and challenged themselves. Well done year 4, and thank you Coach Dan for a brilliant session!
 

Today, we took part in a taster cricket session to see if we would like to take it up as a sport. We had a go at hitting the ball from a raised stump and from the ground. It gave us a chance to practise our hand/eye coordination. 

Well done to the Year 4s who came 1st in our Inter-school Korfball Tournament. We are so proud of you!

Well done to the Year 3/4 Korfballers who competed in an inter schools tournament at Moorside. It was a close final but Scotforth came out on top! CHAMPIONS 2026!!!! Well done ! 

We have enjoyed Miss Helen teaching us our animal dances as part of our ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’ topic.

Yesterday we had a street dance session. We learnt how to do a cool walk, poses and the flip roll. We had lots of fun learning these new skills.

Our PE this week has been a bit different as we had a visit from ‘Go Velo’ and had the chance to develop our cycling skills. The rain stayed away and we had a great time showing lots of enthusiasm and resilience.

Year 4 enjoyed an action packed day learning cycling skills with Go Velo! Everyone was amazing and had a fantastic attitude whether they were experienced cyclists or learning for the first time. Well done year 4, and thank you Go Velo!
 

Year 4 have had a fantastic afternoon playing Christmas dodgeball. They were fair and honest, showing great sportsmanship and teamwork. Well done Year 4!
 

Some of our Year 5 and 6 boys spent the day at Lancaster and Morecambe College, taking part in the inter schools tournament. We tried hard in the group stages but we didn’t make it further than the first of the knock- out rounds ( where we narrowly lost 1-0 to Grosvenor Park). Well done to all the…
