Today Robbie came in and showed Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 how to do archery. We had a great time, even in the dodgy weather!
Year 5 Moving Models
Today we have used our own plans to create a moving model with a cam mechanism. We have designed a background and a foreground which compliments our moving figure. All of are ideas are based on our theme of Journeys.
Year 5 Crown Green Bowling with Coach Dan

Estimating mass in Year 5
We are learning about different measures and today we focused on mass. We estimated before we weighed the different objects. We found our estimations improved the more that we did it.
Y5 Wheelchair Basketball
We had great fun today trying out wheelchair basketball in the hall. We played 4v4 mini games. Thanks to Owen, Oliver and Xavier for letting our teacher team win.
Investigating Day and Night
Today with the help of a torch and a globe we investigated how day and night occur on planet Earth. We watched the sunlight gradually disappear from Britain as the Earth spun on its own axis. Our friends in Australia slept soundly during out day and then woke up as we were getting ready for bed.
