Dear Parents,

 

When I last wrote to you at the end of summer term, I told you that the interviews for our new Headteacher had been postponed until early this term.  I can now tell you that these have now taken place and an outstanding candidate has been found.  Following a rigorous interview process I am delighted to inform you that the Governing Body have appointed Mrs Katie Walsh as our next Headteacher.

 

Mrs Walsh is currently the Headteacher at Silverdale St. John’s Church of England Primary School and will join us from the 1st January 2022.  I know that she is eager to get to know school, children, staff and parents as quickly as possible and is keen to come to any school events she can.

 

I am sure that you will join the Governing Body in welcoming her into our school family.
