Next Thursday (7th October) is National Poetry Day and we are celebrating poetry all week at Scotforth!  Every day we will listen to the favourite poems of the teachers (many from our childhood) and then, on Friday, we will vote on which of the teachers' poems the children enjoyed the most.  If you have any favourite poetry books or maybe a favourite poem from when you were a child, please share this with your children at home and feel free to send it in to school to share with their class!
