Today, we have started our Science unit on ‘Electricity’. We discussed what an ‘appliance’ is and which appliances use electricity. We sorted different appliances into those that use mains powered electricity and those that use battery powered using a Venn diagram. We also looked at the different components that make up a circuit. After looking at each component, we then constructed a simple circuit that made the bulb light up.
