Some year 5 and 6 children who spent time earlier in the year growing their own vegetables have been able to use our brand new kitchen to cook different healthy meals. These include flatbread with pea and mint dip, healthy pot noodles, potato cakes, garlic bread and even chocolate and beetroot cupcakes. These meals have incorporated some of the vegetables which they had grown, and taught valuable cooking skills. Thank you very much to Libby from Food for Life, it was an amazing opportunity for the children!
