Class of 2023

We had a great morning looking at the English game of Crown Green Bowling. We definitely improved our technique and became more confident with the rolling skill. 
We enjoyed trying to beat Coach Dan!

We have made our passports and boarded our flight. First stop … Hong Kong. Mrs Law told us all about life in Hong Kong and we learnt some Cantonese! 
Next destination … Honduras. We looked at lots of photos, tasted Plantain crisps (fried bananas) , made our own fruit salad and looked at stories…

Year 1 enjoyed Pedal and Scoot today. Thank you to all our parent helpers.

We had a wonderful time on our school trip today. We saw some amazing animals and imagined what it would be like to travel on a steam train in the past. 

We enjoyed using our voices and exploring poems. 

We enjoyed measuring capacity using cubes, soil and water.

We had fun measuring the mass of objects and comparing them.

We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day.

We could not believe it. We arrived to school and there was huge footprints and a dinosaur egg in our classroom.

We read “The Little Red Hen” and spoke about how she made the bread and the skills needed to do it. We thought we would try it for ourselves. 
We looked at the skills of mixing, kneading and rolling. Our bread tasted so delicious and smelt amazing 

Thank you to another Mummy who came into school today. She told us about her job and how she helped people every day. She discussed how dangerous medicines could be and how we should always ask an adult. 
She also showed us how she helped people in Mozambique to build a working well. This meant…
