We used 2d shapes to make a fire engine. We then went for a ride in it!

Today, Debbie from NISCU brought her very large bible to school to talk to us about all the different things the bible contains.

Year 3 have been learning all about division this week.  We learnt that dividing means two things - grouping and sharing.

Today we had our first lacrosse session with Coach Mike  in P.E. It proved to be very popular!

This week the finals of The Great Scotforth Bake Off took place in Year 5. The challenge - to design and make their own showstopper bread roll.

Unfortunately Paul and Mary were unavailable so judging was passed on to Miss Huddleston.

Cedric the skeleton has joined our class for a short time. We have been looking at the skeleton and naming bones. How many bones can you name?

The children are working in pairs or individually to produce their own mini adventure.

Mr Stephens came to see Year 3 today to tell us all about his job. He manages a car dealership in Blackburn. He also brought with him a sports car which went down really well with the children, especially when they got to sit inside it.
