We have a great time trying wheelchair basketball today.  It was pretty tricky but lots of fun!

Thank you to Lancaster Bulldogs for coming in and telling us about wheelchair basketball. We really enjoyed it but realised how hard it really it is! 

Today, Lancaster Bulldogs came into school to give us the opportunity to play wheelchair basketball. It was much harder than it looked but we persevered and we even scored lots of goals.

At the start of a very busy day, Year 6 enjoyed a session of wheelchair basketball.

We had so much fun on our trip to Billy Bob’s. We went in a coach journey, we looked at all the different types of transport. We also helped our friends and took turns on the different equipment. 

The rain held off long enough for the nursery children to explore all of the transport themed frames in the play area. We have worked hard to take turns and wait patiently.

This week we have been investigating toys that need a push or a pull. Today we made aeroplanes. The children all decided to use very large paper. Unfortunately the wind blew all of our aeroplanes behind us!

The children sorted the living things from different habitats using a branching key. By working together and thinking of the right questions, they successfully completed the challenge.

Today, Year 6 were invited back to Ashton Manor residential home, to join the staff and residents for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. First we entertained them by singing songs from our production, before enjoying cakes, jelly and ice cream. Finally we worked with the residents to solve a number of…
