Today we had a visit from a nurse.
Today nurse Elle visited us. She spoke about hot to have healthy bodies and healthy minds. We also learnt how to use plasters, bandages and other equipment.
We had a visit from a Doctor
Yesterday we had a Doctor visit us in Reception. He showed us lots of different equipment, how to use some of them and what they are used for. We even got to listen to each others heart beats.

‘Switched On!’ Electricity Workshop
This morning, Year 4 explored electricity with a fantastic session led by Electricity North West. We drew and built circuits, discussed electrical safety and even made a human circuit using the electricity in our bodies!
God’s promise
We listened to the story of Noah. The children were very interested in the part about the rainbow. We used a handy table to make our loose parts rainbow. The children all talked about their favourite colours.
Outdoor safety superheroes
We have looked all around school for things that might not be safe. We are good at spotting dangers.
Street dance.
Yesterday we had a street dance session. We learnt how to do a cool walk, poses and the flip roll. We had lots of fun learning these new skills.
Y1 Street Dance
We enjoyed experiencing Street Dance today. We liked the different movements we made with our bodies. Thanks Jennifer.
Y1 Making Bread
We used great skills to make the bread: sifting, stirring and kneading the dough. It was tasty!
Bread Tasting
We investigated lots of different types of bread after reading The Little Red Hen. We discussed where the ingredients came from.
People Who Help Us-Real-life Superheroes

Year 4 Romans Workshop
Year 4 had the pleasure of welcoming Marcus the Roman Soldier into school this afternoon. He helped them begin their training to become future members of the Roman Legion! Year 4 showed off their skills and learnt lots too. They are going to be some excellent soldiers for the Roman Empire, well…
