Street dance.
Yesterday we had a street dance session. We learnt how to do a cool walk, poses and the flip roll. We had lots of fun learning these new skills.
Y1 Street Dance

Y1 Making Bread
We used great skills to make the bread: sifting, stirring and kneading the dough. It was tasty!
Bread Tasting
We investigated lots of different types of bread after reading The Little Red Hen. We discussed where the ingredients came from.
People Who Help Us-Real-life Superheroes
Thank you to all our parents who came in and spoke about their jobs. The children loved hearing how you are all Real-life Superheroes!
Year 4 Romans Workshop

Y5 Viking Workshop
We had a great day today learning all about the Vikings. We looked at various artefacts, learnt to row a longship and create a shield wall ready for battle. We played ‘Knucklebones’ and a game called ‘Kubb’, which is similar to tenpin bowling. Our costumes were amazing too.

Investigating exercise
This afternoon, we were investigating what happened to our bodies when we exercise. It made our hearts beat faster, made us hotter and we were out of breath.
We also learned that exercise was good for our physical health and our mental health.
Go Velo visit in Year 3
Our PE this week has been a bit different as we had a visit from ‘Go Velo’ and had the chance to develop our cycling skills. The rain stayed away and we had a great time showing lots of enthusiasm and resilience.

Supertato saved the day!
We wrote letters to Supertato asking for his help. We arrived into our classroom and found Evil Pea frozen in ice balloons. We then had a discussion about how he froze him and we need to make sure we don’t let the ice get warm or it will melt.
Year 4 Cycling Session
Year 4 enjoyed an action packed day learning cycling skills with Go Velo! Everyone was amazing and had a fantastic attitude whether they were experienced cyclists or learning for the first time. Well done year 4, and thank you Go Velo!
