First week in Y1

What a fun week we have had in Y1!

Thank you to Steve, who came into Reception. He spoke to us about our bodies and how we can stay healthy. We also got a visit from Harold the giraffe.

Y1 Life Education

Steve from SCARF came in and talked about how we can keep healthy and safe. We discussed the foods we should eat to keep healthy, the importance of exercise and sleep. Harold the giraffe also helped us learn that message!

Standfast and Barracks Competition

Year 4 tortoise visit

In maths, we follow the White Rose Maths scheme. In this scheme there is a tortoise called Tiny who often gets maths problems wrong.
