Today, we discussed objects in fantasy stories that have magical powers. We looked at lots of everyday objects and used our imaginations to decide how they could become magical. We came up with lots of amazing ideas.

We have had fun today reading and sharing different poems with children in Year 1. 

We have been investigating what happens to solids when they are heated or cooled. We have heated chocolate, butter, wax, ice, jelly, bread and an egg to see whether they changed state and we recorded our results.
