Y1 School Trip Dalton
We had an amazing day at the zoo. We fed the giraffes, monkeys and touched the snake. We learnt all about the animal groups and also discussed the animal diets.
Investigating the movement of the Earth, Sun and Moon
Today we went outside to work in small groups. We took turns to be the Sun, Earth or Moon and orbited and spun to show how the 3 spherical bodies work together. This was a great introduction to our new science topic, even if it did leave us feeling a little dizzy.
Zoo trip
We had a great time at South Lakes Safari Zoo! We stroked a snake, fed the monkeys and giraffes and saw lots of other animals.
Year 4 Music

Sharing our Stone Age stories with Year 1
In Year 3 we have been writing our own stories based on the class reader, Stone Age Boy. After showing them our Stone Age dance, we read our stories to the Year One children. They seemed to really enjoy them!

We had a visit from the vets.
We learnt all about how vets help animals and what we can do to help look after animals. We also got to meet Shelly.
